Cincinnati | Northern KY Family Photographer – 2016 Year in Review

It’s that time of year to do my annual blog post!! I am awful at writing, was always a math nerd so I crap out after one sentence in one post and push blogging to the bottom of my to do list (which I don’t get through until the January of the next year). 2016 was a fantastic year for me, I did more sessions than ever- maybe too many in the fall if you ask my husband :P This year, I am taking on new challenges and have some new mini sessions and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! For now though, here is a recap of my 2016 sessions- I think I got most of them in there! Hardest task ever is to compile this image, haha. Enjoy!! Cincinnati Snowflakes

Well, it’s March 2 and the snow and cold continue to hang around! To say I’m sick of winter would be an understatement BUT I did get to try out some macro shots of individual snowflakes which I have been dying to do. I was practically frozen stiff attempting these again and again and again. It’s definitely an art and I have yet to even come close to perfecting it but I think the ones I got weren’t too bad ;) Snowflakes have to be the most beautiful, magical, and delicate creations in the world and until you see them up close like this, it’s hard to fully appreciate their beauty. I’m kind of excited for the snow storm we are currently getting, maybe I can try for more shots tomorrow! Oh and I included a shot of the cute and fuzzy little pill bug that wandered onto my setup.

Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photographer – Sweet L

This sweet little princess was the perfect model. I don’t think she woke up or cried the entire time I was at her house! I loved her awesome and unique nursery, her dad even designed some of it. I had a mentoring session with Melissa from the fabulous Captured by Clay Photography in Georgetown, KY, so I invited this sweet babe back to my studio for some more shots when she was almost a month old.
