Cincinnati | Northern KY Family Photographer – 2016 Year in Review

It’s that time of year to do my annual blog post!! I am awful at writing, was always a math nerd so I crap out after one sentence in one post and push blogging to the bottom of my to do list (which I don’t get through until the January of the next year). 2016 was a fantastic year for me, I did more sessions than ever- maybe too many in the fall if you ask my husband :P This year, I am taking on new challenges and have some new mini sessions and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! For now though, here is a recap of my 2016 sessions- I think I got most of them in there! Hardest task ever is to compile this image, haha. Enjoy!! Anderson OH Maternity Photographer | Baby #2

I love getting to know my clients and getting to grow with their families. This stunning mama was one of my first maternity clients when she was pregnant with her son who is now 2 1/2. I then got to photograph their little guy throughout his first year :) So I was thrilled to hear about baby #2 (a girl!)! They are no longer just clients of mine, they are friends and I am so happy and blessed to be a part of their lives. Enjoy!

What a gorgeous and glowing mama-to-be!! Her house was a dream to photograph in, LOVED the big windows and beautiful, soft light! Their baby boy’s nursery was something out of a magazine, loved the color and the mural. I’m so excited to meet him in just a few weeks!

Cincinnati Snowflakes

Well, it’s March 2 and the snow and cold continue to hang around! To say I’m sick of winter would be an understatement BUT I did get to try out some macro shots of individual snowflakes which I have been dying to do. I was practically frozen stiff attempting these again and again and again. It’s definitely an art and I have yet to even come close to perfecting it but I think the ones I got weren’t too bad ;) Snowflakes have to be the most beautiful, magical, and delicate creations in the world and until you see them up close like this, it’s hard to fully appreciate their beauty. I’m kind of excited for the snow storm we are currently getting, maybe I can try for more shots tomorrow! Oh and I included a shot of the cute and fuzzy little pill bug that wandered onto my setup.

Weekend Sessions in My Hometown :) {Cincinnati Maternity Photographer}

I went back home for Memorial Day weekend and got to shoot my gorgeous cousin who is having her second baby very soon and my gorgeous friend who is getting married next month! I am so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people! Congrats to both of you!!

I had the pleasure of hosting the fabulous Sally from Sally Kate Photography http://www.sallykatephotography.com/ for a weekend and she brought her two lovely daughters as models :) Another fabulous photographer, Sara from Sara Smile Photography https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Smile-Photography/263059907053737, lives just 40 or so minutes from me so she joined us for the majority of the weekend too.
