Have you ever had this slight memory in your mind that you really wanted to share with someone? You we’re trying to describe the moment, but couldn’t quite get a grasp on it. That’s when you really wish you just had a photo you could pull out.

Photography is so significant because it’s not just capturing a moment, but it’s capturing an image that can speak for itself. You don’t need words to understand the expression on someone’s face or be able to feel like you’re in the moment with them.

If I’m photographing parent’s with their children, I’ll have them pick them up and spin them around, or play a round of tag to get the natural laughing and smiling of the children and parents.
