I love these little boys and feel so lucky to get to photograph them throughout their first year. I can’t believe they are already 9 months old and the first year sessions will be coming to an end very soon!  They have been the most charming, laid back guys since their newborn session :) And I love how they have their own unique look but both so incredibly cute!!

Cincinnati Snowflakes

Well, it’s March 2 and the snow and cold continue to hang around! To say I’m sick of winter would be an understatement BUT I did get to try out some macro shots of individual snowflakes which I have been dying to do. I was practically frozen stiff attempting these again and again and again. It’s definitely an art and I have yet to even come close to perfecting it but I think the ones I got weren’t too bad ;) Snowflakes have to be the most beautiful, magical, and delicate creations in the world and until you see them up close like this, it’s hard to fully appreciate their beauty. I’m kind of excited for the snow storm we are currently getting, maybe I can try for more shots tomorrow! Oh and I included a shot of the cute and fuzzy little pill bug that wandered onto my setup.

Cincinnati OH Baby Photographer – My Little Girl

I am still in shock that my little girl turned one 2 weeks ago! Time flies, that is for sure. I had planned ahead and purchased a big cupcake from Cupcake Crazy for a cake smash but after trying to drop a feeding to wean her, I came down with mastitis (ouch!). So my plans of taking pictures went down the drain until I got some antibiotics in my system. By then, the cake was a few days old so I decided to do it one evening before it was as hard as a rock. I have southwest facing windows in my studio so the worst possible light for a late afternoon session but despite the color issues, I still love these pictures. I think she would have sat there and ate until all of the icing was gone if I had let her!! She’s definitely my big eater! I love photographing newborns!! Their sweet little sounds, tiny features and fingers/toes, and their ability to curl up and pose while not batting an eye. This little guy was awesome; I love so many of his pictures, I am going to over share, haha. I got to photograph his older cousin a couple of months before and he was a rockstar too!
